THE McDONNELL HOUSE

BRIEF: To re-inspire the client with an updated and fresh design, closely meeting their needs but with additional exciting features.
THE RESULT: A classically Georgian-proportioned manor house with traditional front elevation and formal gardens, revealing a light & glassy interior opening up to the south to flood the house with light and warmth.
Colour, proportion and sweeping staircases have resulted in a playful yet restrained house which uses light and double height spaces to give a sense of space and gravitas.
