Sustainability - The failure of the Kyoto Protocol agreements to affect any industrial or financial nerve-endings has resulted in complete ambivalence on the part of the world-wide economy to counter-act issues of sustainability. Impending fuel shortages and water pollution (to name only two issues raised) instead have to be tackled by local and national government, and reinforced by designers. See here...
